We place emphasis on the importance of extra curricular activities either at lunchtimes or after school. These activities vary but may include:
Most of these rely on school staff volunteering their time to run them, whilst some activities are ‘bought in’ from outside providers i.e. gymnastics and multi skills and are therefore charged for. These do change from term to term.
The school presents regular productions, plays and concerts both inside and outside school.
We have a very strong musical tradition within our school. Our choir and instrumentalists perform regularly both in school and in the Long Sutton Community including the annual flower festival concert in St Mary’s Church.
There are a number of instruments available to be taught by peripatetic teachers – these include violin, cello, clarinet, drums, guitar, saxophone, flute, trombone and trumpet. A termly charge is incurred for all these music lessons.
