We are always delighted to show you around our wonderful school. Many thanks to our parents for such lovely feedback!

The teachers at this school are absolutely fabulous! Would 100% recommend.

Choosing Long Sutton Primary School has been such a positive move for our family. With three children, each with different personalities, the great community feel and supportive environment have helped them all make friends, grow in confidence and enjoy so many opportunities to learn and shine as individuals.

When looking around schools for my little boy I was at first daunted by the thought of a 'bigger' school. I need not have been concerned! Long Sutton Primary has nurtured both of my children every step of the way! The school is like 2 schools in one so it is not overwhelming for the younger children but I feel it has been great preparation for my son to take the leap to secondary school. He is used to progressing through the years to different classrooms and working with a variety of teachers. I also feel we have benefited greatly from what a 'bigger' school can offer, great opportunities for trips, brilliant fundraising events, home cooked school dinners, after school clubs and wraparound care that works brilliantly alongside our jobs.

See what our Year 6 parents have to say about our school

Absolutely delighted! Feel his year 6 teacher really knows our child well and has brought out the best in him. Thank you for making his primary school journey one that has shaped him well for the future.

The feedback and comments on Harry’s school report were lovely and certainly made us very proud parents, he’s achieved so much even though sone things didn’t come easily. He’s had an amazing time at Long Sutton Primary School and I’m sure he will miss all the teachers and support staff whom he has created a huge bond during his time at the school. One of his greatest achievements and memories to carry with him always is being the first ever child to achieve all four value badges, this has taught Harry that despite any challenge you can aim high and achieve your goal. As parents our journey with the school now also finishes so this will be a change in our lives and our dog Poppy will also miss her fan club every morning as she has known no difference for the past four years.

What a brilliantly written report! Thank you. We shared with Alice's grandparents, and we all commented on how it was so lovely to get such rounded feedback, that didn't only focus on the academic side of things but saw her as a whole person. It gave us all (and Alice) a real boost.
That for me is reflective of her time at the school, where all staff, not just the teachers (but especially the teachers!) appreciate every child as an individual and take the time to find out what makes them tick. I'm really sad that she's moving on and hope that the team at her secondary school can give her a similar standard of support and friendliness.

Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, lovely playground facilities.

I am over the moon with Issac’s last report with yourselves. It really shows how much Mrs Sutton has gotten to know Issac and his abilities and weaknesses. She really has pushed him to be the best version of himself he can be and achieved a wonderful grade in SATS.
Issac will be sad to leave Long Sutton and has enjoyed his primary experience .

We would like to thank everyone at the school for the incredible support, encouragement and opportunities Rafe has received throughout his time here. He has thoroughly enjoyed his primary school years and has grown into a confident, kind and enthusiastic learner.
We are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved, and it is clear from his report and SATs results that the hard work of both Rafe and his teachers has paid off. We particularly appreciate how his teachers have recognised not only his academic abilities but also his attitude, kindness and willingness to support others.
Thank you to all the staff who have played a part in Rafe’s journey. Knowing he has been happy, challenged and cared for has meant a great deal to us as parents. He leaves primary school with wonderful memories, strong values and a fantastic foundation for secondary school, and for that we are extremely grateful.

I remember when he was started in 2024 March at Long Sutton Primary School he was struggled with English language as it is not his mother language.
With the great help of all the teachers and the staff he is finishing with black and wight change of his Studies. Not only studies but also language, behavior , skills and attitude.
Please let me to offer you, massive and very big and big thank of our family to all of you. We know that it is very hard but you all did it. We are very happy about him, he is very good to start his new chapter at secondary school.

Keira has absolutely thrived at Long Sutton Primary. We lost my mum 2 years ago, and I honestly think that the teachers and the environment of the school, massively helped with Keira. We only had my Mum and my brother, so the teachers have been like an extended family to her, something I will be eternally grateful for. She has enjoyed literally everyday. Miss Gray and all the staff in my eyes, are worth their weight in gold. Thankyou, so much.

We was delighted with Teddy’s end of year 6 report the comments gave a true reflection on how his final year has gone and we couldn’t be more proud. We will be sad to leave the school as the values and standards have in our opinion changed and we would be more than happy to recommend anyone to the school.

I am so proud of my daughter’s report. A massive thank you for the support and encouragement from great teachers. She is so ready for her next journey and that’s all down to you. She will miss you all so much.

Ellie has had a wonderful 7yrs at this school, and we are very grateful for all the opportunities and experiences she has been given. Her school reports have been consistently good through the whole 7yrs, and we have always had good relationships with all of her teachers.

Lya-Nora joined the Long Sutton Primary School last year meaning April 2025 as we arrived from a different country. As parents we got stressed fearing that she would not intergrate but as soon as we entered the reception for our visit the we receive a warm welcome. Lya-Nora met Mr Whitehead for the first time and who was going to be her class teacher and another welcoming from his. He help Lya-Nora to feel confident as the subjects she was learning in our country were completely different from yours. She tried doing her best in order to achieve her goal for year 6..Year 2025 is over..
2026 is here..starting with a new teacher Mrs Sutton was a new defy for her..but of our great surprise the connection was easy..like she has been waiting for Mrs Sutton to surpass her capacity. Mrs Sutton trusted in her capacity and in return we trusted in Mrs Sutton..hats of amazing LADY..with Lya-Nora reports we said yesss we were right in trusting both of them Lya and Mrs sutton because it was very stressful for us at the begining.😊Lya-nora enjoys every activities or outings of yours..Today seeing her crying on leaving the Long Sutton Primary School yard for the last time 22.07.2026 I can say that yes she was happy and proud to belong to your school(her second home).
The most I appreciated is that children are being rewarded for their hardwork and this encourage others to do their best as well..
To all staff members thanks for your smile your kindness your warm welcoming and your hard working upon all the children who are well disciplined and respectful. As a parent I am really satisfied..high level ..beyond my expectation...keep it up👍
